  • Completing a Volunteering Interest Form and participating as a Volunteer or a Senior Living in an Assisted Living Facility.

    • Other information pertaining to our program(s)

    • Session cookies to help you navigate through our site when you log into a password-only area such as Adopt-a-Mimi Access

Children’s Privacy

ADOPT-A-MIMI does not knowingly or intentionally solicit or collect personally identifiable information online from children under the age of thirteen without prior verifiable parental consent. If ADOPT-A-MIMI learns that a child under the age of thirteen has submitted personally identifiable information online in contravention of these measures, ADOPT-A-MIMI will take reasonable measures to delete such information from its databases and to not use such information for any purpose (except where necessary to protect the safety of the child or others as required or allowed by law).   • Reserve the right to use non-personal information, such as IP addresses, to identify a user when we feel it is necessary to protect the compelling interests of the website, our volunteers, seniors living in assisted living facilities, donors, customers, or others or to comply with laws, court orders, or law enforcement requests.

We make reasonable efforts not to share the following:

  • Donor e-mail addresses are not included in the list exchanges.
  • Personal information you provide to us as part of the Adopt-a-Mimi Access community with third parties, other than to specifically help us manage the website or as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy.

Donations

ADOPT-A-MIMI employs other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf, and we need to share your information with them to provide services to you. Examples include but are not limited to accepting and processing donations, hosting and maintaining this Site, and providing customer service. ADOPT-A-MIMI may also partner with third-party services for fraud prevention and/or identity verification. As a part of the services provided by our third-party vendors, we may share your personally identifiable information.
